I have really enjoyed my two years of singing lessons with Jules, they have helped me to improve my singing skills massively. I have enjoyed the weird noises we made for warming up different parts of my voice.

My favourite thing about my lessons with Jules was just being able to go and have a sing on whichever song I wanted and just having a bit of fun while improving my singing technique.

I would definitely recommend Jules as a singing teacher. I have improved so much in the time I have had lessons with Jules and I have enjoyed my lessons more than I have with other singing teachers I have been with before.

I have always been quite apprehensive about doing singing lessons as I get quite nervous to sing in front of others but Jules made the environment of our lessons incredibly safe and welcoming. She never made me do anything that I was uncomfortable with but she would always encourage me to do my hardest and simply just try. 

I have certainly seen a massive improvement in my voice since working with Jules, and not only that, but these lessons have been great in advancing my knowledge in the science and logistics of singing, helping me to understand my own, individual voice. 

Now I feel so much more confident with my voice and just as myself as a person. Jules is more than just a singing teacher, she has helped me with so much, such as: applying to drama schools and what songs to sing for each school given their requirements, auditions for shows in and outside of college, and even giving me a bank of vocal warm ups to come back to once I leave college that are specific to my liking.

I highly recommend Jules as a singing teacher for someone in a similar position to me as I have gained a great amount of self-assurement as well as bettering my skills as a singer too!

I was given some lessons with Jules as a birthday gift. Although singing with choirs for many years, I had never had a private lesson and was quite apprehensive about singing on my own in front of someone. I needn’t have worried. Jules put me at ease immediately.

We did lots of warm-up techniques with plenty of explanations as to what was happening in my body with each one. I became much more confidant over several lessons and was very relieved to be told that I sang in tune! Jules was so encouraging and happy to help me with some of my choir work too.

I am sorry our one-to-one lessons have come to an end as Jules has left the area. I chose not to go down the on-line route as I already sing with an on-line choir but would fully recommend Jules as a vocal coach whichever way one wishes to do it.

I have sung in choirs for many years but I had never had a formal singing lesson. Overtime my vocal range had reduced as had my breathing control. I heard about Jules through a friend and decided to have some lessons with her.

Nervous at first, but Jules put me completely at my ease with her lovely approach and careful explanation of how the voice works and some great exercises to overcome my problem areas.

When Jules moved to a different area, I was hesitant about continuing via zoom but decided to give the lessons a go. I can honestly say that it feels no different to being in the same room as Jules.

I am loving my lessons with Jules. My range has improved considerably. The top notes that I thought were lost for ever have returned and I have discovered some new notes at the bottom of my range. I am so grateful for Jules to giving me a fresh insight into singing.

As a member of a chorus based in Dorset, I wanted to gain confidence in my “music-ability”, singing technique and also to increase my basic knowledge in music theory.

Finding Jules has been a real result; Jules is so enthusiastic and she gives conviction and assurance in every lesson. Jules has a lot of patience and knows exactly what she is aiming to achieve from me.

Jules has certainly helped me accomplish a broader vocal range and in achieving this we have also concentrated on strengthening my vocal chords, breathing technique and reviewed my posture which has all contributed in my execution and performance.
